WThis is an easy interpretation of a cocktail featured on a new cocktail list. This is a large-volume prepared mix which is loaded full of tastes of the festive period, making it excellent for your holiday party. Any leftover syrup for morning drinks, sweets, or for more rounds of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 people
To make the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Drink (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
For the Cordial: Place the listed items into a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing to dissolve. After that, turn off the heat allowing it to cool down completely. Transfer into a sterilised bottle, close it keeping it in the refrigerator, it will last for around four weeks.
To make Cocktail Base: Pour the specified liquid ingredients into one sizeable container, let it rest for 60 minutes, then filter it , ideally through muslin, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Pour 85ml of your batch mix into your cocktail shaker containing ice, gently stirring lightly for a minute until cold. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or similar, garnish with some cranberries and complete it with a brief mist of mandarin oil above the glass.
